Shosholoza was launched on 19 September 2015. It was approved and officially registered with the IEC as a political party on 7 December 2015.
Shosholoza has contested a few by-elections and also contested the 2021 Local Government Elections in Johannesburg to test its support. The membership is growing steadily and we are confident that we represent a rue vision of the future of our people.
Ideology: Social Democracy
- Introduce unemployment grant of R1500.
- Establish Shosholoza Job Centres with free Wi-Fi in Communities.
- Establish Community Cooperatives to clean and patrol communities and create jobs.
- Protect our industries from low grade imports to save our jobs.
- Introduce Monetary Velocity (MV) to stimulate the economy and job creation.
- Streamline & Restructure the tax regime to cut out admin costs and to reduce tax rates.
- Introduce Over the Top Taxation (OTT) to deal with foreign vampire businesses.
- Streamline education & focus on few key subjects.
- Introduce immigration quotas and repatriate all illegal immigrants.
- Redistribute land using expropriation with or without compensation amongst various other measures.
- Create confidence with business to believe in South Africa and to stop capital outflows.
